Candidacy Inquiry

Not everyone is a candidate for vision correction. Each individual has very unique eyes. No two corneas are the same... just like with a fingerprint.  This is why a pre-operative exam is absolutely necessary.  Before vision correction is performed, we will perform a comprehensive refractive evaluation to determine the stability of your vision, general health, review realistic expectations and possible outcomes, and answer all your questions.

Candidates must be 18 years of age or older for nearsightedness and/or astigmatism, and 21 years of age or older for farsightedness. 

· Prescriptions must be within treatment range. 
   (Because we also perform the more complex procedures beyond
    laser vision correction, our prescription range is very broad.)

· Patient must have realistic expectations of the final outcome.  

· A comprehensive refractive evaluation must be performed to
   confirm ocular and general health for meeting full candidacy criterion.
