SoftecSoftec HD Advanced IOL Softec HD™ by Lenstec We are excited to be the first practice in the area to include to our list of advanced IOLs, the new Softec HD™ by Lenstec...offering an incredible level of precision! Until recently, IOLs were only manufactured in ½ diopters with 0.4 tolerances. But today, the new Softec HD™ IOL delivers greater accuracy as the first ever IOL available in ¼ diopter increments and 0.125 tolerances. The Softec HD™ is a patented bi-aspheric, zero aberration optic with a 360-degree square edge. With a lathe cut, Softec HD™ IOL provides quality optics, high resolution and enhanced depth of field. The lens is less sensitive to decentration or tilt, and allows for minimal need for post-op enhancements. We have found this lens to offer patients very sharp and predictable post-operative visual acuity. These, and other factors are making the Softec HD™ IOL our lens of choice for many of our refractive and cataract patients.
