AcrySof ToricACRYSOF® Toric
The ACRYSOF® Toric IOLs are used in adult patients with corneal astigmatism in cataract surgery (human lens is cloudy) or refractive lens exchange (vision correction procedure when the human lens is clear).
The unique design of the Acrysof Toric lens reduces or eliminates at the same time, both corneal astigmatism and significantly improves uncorrected distance vision. Acrysof Toric Lens provides quality distance vision to reduce the dependence of eyeglasses and contact lenses. Where as, traditional IOL replacements are unable to correct the astigmatism. With the Acrysof Toric lens, there is generally is less chance for additional surgeries or eyewear to correct the astigmatism condition.
